3rd mobility small scale partnership "Just Grow": Romania

From the 21st till the 27th of April Manfred on Tour travelled with other experts in youth from Romania (Youth Alma NGO) and Iceland (Reykholar Youth Club) to our last strategic partnership meeting in Iasi, Romania.
2 years of work conclude with this gathering on which we have been able to recap quite a journey. Meetings, presentations and talks have given space to a lot of study visits and experiential exchanges. In Romania we have been able to see how volunteer programs develop rural areas through cultural and historical lost heritage recovery; how social entrepreneurship can help NGOs to gain independence while improving their work and how sports can tackle social inclusion of minorities.

A lot of practical input that has encouraged personal and social reflections on the power of youth work and the challenges young people live these days. This partnership have shown how geographical differences invite to diverse methods that can inspire others to follow good practices. The international and intergenerational dialogue has helped once again to build good sinergies that will keep inspiring our work.

All these activities have led to the final revisison of our youth strategies: A plan for the next 3 years that aims to help the sometimes disorganized or impulsive way of working of small youth led NGOs. With this support Manfred on Tour leaves this partnership stronger, with better methods and with a recharged battery to bring about exciting youth programs during next summer. Keep on tune to hear from us:)

Big thanks to Alex and our romanian host Youth Alma for coordinating this whole Erasmus + KA2 program and for hosting us with an outstanding kindness leaving the best close up to this journey!
